Our client, a large pipeline company, is looking to hire Environmental Inspectors (EI).

Working under the Environmental Inspector Lead, the Environmental Inspector is the Company’s authorized representative and is to inspect and ensure that all field project construction is being conducted in compliance with the applicable environmental plans/procedures and the requirements of federal, regional, provincial/state, and local environmental permits or approvals, as prepared and approved by the Company Environmental Department.

Prior to construction, project-specific environmental materials will be provided to the Environmental Inspector, which include detailed plans, procedures and environmental conditions to be complied with before, during, and after construction.  The  EI will provide support to the Lead and provide right of way (ROW) assessments and managing/overseeing reclamation work.  

  • Preference given to individuals that carry an Environmental Technician or Technologist Diploma.
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined applicable academic training, certification and related pipeline experience.
  • Experience in reclamation is preferred.
  • This would be a contract field position from May to October 2025.
  • The candidate needs to be an Independent Contractor (IC) and have auto and liability insurance.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • The candidate will need to get the following safety tickets prior to their first day:  Standard First Aid/CPR, WHMIS, TDG, Ground Disturbance Level 2, Defensive Driving.
  • Work schedule is 12 days on/ 7 days off.
  • Work location is in Grand Prairie, AB
