About Engineers of Tomorrow
Engineers of Tomorrow (EoT) is Queen's University's first chapter dedicated to inspiring the next generation through engaging, hands-on STEM education. We partner with local schools to deliver interactive workshops that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
Position Overview
The Workshop Director (Volunteer & Education) is responsible for developing engaging STEM workshops and supporting the volunteers who deliver them. Working closely with the executive team, you'll help create meaningful learning experiences while ensuring volunteers are prepared and confident to lead workshops.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging STEM lesson plans and workshop materials.
- Recruit, train, and support workshop volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer assignments and workshop preparation.
- Gather volunteer feedback and improve workshop resources.
- Work with the executive team to ensure workshops are educational, interactive, and impactful.
We're Looking For
We're looking for students who are:
- Passionate about education and community outreach.
- Organized and dependable.
- Comfortable working with volunteers and collaborating in a team.
- Interested in teaching, curriculum development, mentorship, or STEM education.
No previous experience is required—we're happy to help you learn!
Time Commitment
- Approximately 4-6 hours per week
- Weekly executive meetings during the Fall and Winter terms
- Additional availability during workshops and major club events
