About Engineers of Tomorrow

Engineers of Tomorrow (EoT) is Queen's University's first chapter dedicated to inspiring the next generation through engaging, hands-on STEM education. We partner with local schools to deliver interactive workshops that spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners.

Position Overview

The Workshop Director (Operations & Logistics) is responsible for coordinating the planning and logistics behind Engineers of Tomorrow's workshops. Working closely with the executive team, you'll help ensure workshops are well-organized, volunteers are supported, and every event runs smoothly from planning to delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate workshop scheduling and event logistics.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between EoT and partner schools.
  • Organize volunteer assignments and workshop preparation.
  • Work with the executive team to plan outreach initiatives and club events.
  • Ensure workshops run smoothly by coordinating logistics before, during, and after each event.

    • Strong communicators and problem-solvers.
    • Comfortable coordinating teams and managing logistics.
    • Interested in project management, event planning, operations, or community outreach.

    No previous experience is required—we're happy to help you learn!

    Time Commitment

    • Approximately 4-6 hours per week
    • Weekly executive meetings during the Fall and Winter terms
    • Additional availability during workshops and major club events
