Come yarn with us and make a deadly impact

Hey mob! If you’re a proud Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, we’d love to yarn with you about joining our team at APM Employment Services as an Employment Consultant In Darwin & Alice Springs. We’re on a mission to help thousands of Aussies get into employment — and we know that having strong First Nations voices in our team makes all the difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work with participants, supporting them with culturally safe and holistic services that help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable, ongoing employment.

You will also:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
  • Develop tailored plans for participants to create successful and culturally safe pathways for employment
  • You will empower participants by positively developing and enhancing their employability skills to find meaningful employment and provide support to employers
  • Deliver a quality service whilst adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements

Why You’ll Love It Here

We’re not just a workplace — we’re a community. When you join APM Employment Services, you’ll get:

  • A solid salary + uncapped performance incentives (yep, we reward your hard work!)
  • Salary sacrifice options + ability to buy extra leave
  • Paid parental leave
  • Mental health & well-being support
  • Discounts at heaps of Aussie retailers and Health Insurance
  • Career development tailored to your goals

Be rewarded for your success - Performance is part of our culture as it encourages us to help more people. Your role will attract a base salary plus an uncapped incentive structure. You'll also have unlimited personal use of a smartphone, free counselling services and a range of other benefits.

What you will need

  • You may require a current probationary or open Australian Drivers Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle, but let’s have a yarn about that
  • Willing to complete a National Police check
  • Willing to obtain a MyID (standard level)
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children's check
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
