How You’ll Make an Impact:  

  • Manage dining room, lounge and room service that provide food services in a 200+ guest room hotel.
  • Ensure the overall guests' dining experience provides a high level of service, FOH is in optimal condition and the environment and staff provide a friendly, customer-service focused experience
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the Food & Beverage management team
  • Provide information and support to hotel guests
  • Provide service training to servers 
  • Daily cash management with server cash outs balanced. Squirrel POS experience an asset.
  • Server scheduling to meet labor targets and customer demand
  • Liquor management and inventory
  • Provide service support and assistance on the floor 
  • Food and Physical Safety procedures and policies followed
  • Brand standards and policies followed
  • Stepping stone to further your career

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

  • College diploma, university degree or equivalent working experience
  • 2 plus years supervisory leadership experience in a food & beverage position
  • Strong influence, interpersonal, leadership, managerial, communication, problem-solving, and creative solutions skills.
  • Ability to deal with guests in a professional and courteous manner, develop and train servers
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently
  • Management and leadership skills with sound judgement
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. 2nd language a plus!
