Position: Construction Worker with Formwork Experience

Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Construction Workers with a specialty in formwork and concrete work to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in various types of large construction projects, with a particular focus on formwork for concrete. This position requires a highly motivated individual who is ready to take on challenges in different construction environments and contribute to the success of our projects. In particular, this role will involve work on roads and bridge construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and install formwork for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Work with concrete, including mixing, pouring, and finishing, to create structural components such as walls, floors, and beams.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other construction documents to determine project requirements.
• Coordinate with the construction team to ensure timely and efficient completion of formwork and concrete work.
• Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment used in construction, ensuring proper maintenance and safety practices are followed.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions, adhering to all safety policies and procedures on the construction site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in formwork and concrete work in the construction industry.
• Experience in Heavy civils work will be a major advantage.
• Experience in large projects will be a major advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials related to formwork and concrete work.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, with knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
