Class 1 Local P&D Driver for Melfort, New Increased Wages, $29.00/ hour and a $5,000.00 Sign on Bonus!

 Manitoulin Transport in Melfort, SK, is currently expanding to support the growing Agriculture and Mining sectors in northern Saskatchewan. Located 2 hours northeast of Saskatoon, with small-town charm and essential services.

• We are seeking a Class 1 driver for our Melfort location. The ideal candidate will be providing service to a well-established customer base.
• Able to plan, load, and unload trailers, and use an electronic handheld device to record damages and shortages.
• Pick up and deliver freight and use a handheld to obtain customer signatures.
• Monday to Friday schedule with an average of 10-hour days
• This is an incentive-based paying location. Along with a great compensation package, we offer benefits, profit sharing, and a uniform allowance.  

• Class 1  license required
• Ability to complete proper pre/post & inter trips
• Knowledge of ELD (Electronic Logging Devices)
• Knowledge of hours of service
• Knowledge of load securement TDG & WHMIS
• Physically Fit
• Must have good customer service skills
• Must be reliable, dependable, and hard-working
• Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2  work-related references
