What You’ll Do
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will:
- Provide direct resident treatment under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Help residents improve independence with daily living activities and functional mobility
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
- Assist with restorative nursing programs and staff education
- Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families
- Participate in care conferences and rehab meetings
- Educate residents and caregivers on safety, home programs, and fall prevention
- Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices to support independence
- Maintain a safe and positive treatment environment
- Support quality improvement and rehabilitation initiatives
Qualifications
✔ Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program
✔ Current California COTA License in good standing
✔ CPR Certification if required by licensure
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ New grads are encouraged to apply!
✔ Familiarity with Net Health and PointClickCare is a plus
