Executive Aviation is excited to announce that we are looking for an Assistant Station Manager to join our team at the Sudbury airport (YSB). This position will report to the Station Manager and is not covered by the collective bargaining unit.

Responsibilities

  • Providing supervision and leadership to our customer service team, and unionized ramp team
  • Working with the Station Manager on successful training and winter season programs
  • Assisting and leading the training program at the base (new hire, recurrent, and seasonal)
  • Providing hands on job shadowing and equipment training opportunities with employees
  • Providing instruction and coaching for employees regarding correct behaviour and standards
  • Sharing any read and signs, or new procedures with the team and ensuring everyone understands
  • Organizing and maintaining base training files for each airline
  • Preparing for all audits
  • De-ice training and glycol inventories and spreadsheets
  • Helping the Station Manager with flight logs, OT sheets and support as needed
  • Perform customer service/ramp duties as required
  • Ensure all internal and airline procedures are followed in line with the rules and regulations of Transport Canada
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Proven record of exceeding airline standards and expectations
  • Previous leadership experience considered an asset
  • Must have personal flexibility to work shift work which includes early mornings, days, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, crouch, kneel and push and pull for extended periods of time
  • Must possess a valid RAIC/AVOP and be trained in all ramp procedures at the base
