We are currently looking for a Journeyman and Apprentice HVAC/ Sheet Metal Workers to be an integral part of our Service/ Small Projects Division. This is a role that will be interesting and dynamic as no two days will be the same. Black and McDonald is part of the Sheet Metal Union, Local 296. We offer top wages in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, layout, repair and install products and parts.
• Use technical and mathematical skills to operate tools and machines
• Take measurements as per plans
• Work under the supervision of skilled Journeypersons in the Commercial Construction industry
• Journeyperson(s) to support Apprentices and/or colleagues
• Other duties as required

Skill Requirements:

• Technically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to complete projects with accuracy and precision
• Able to use machinery and tools
• Able to follow directions
• Able to read plans and schematics to understand product assignments
• Excellent organization and communication skill
