Job description
The 310T Mechanic is responsible for safely inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding company-owned or leased heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment. This role ensures all fleet assets operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

● High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.

● Minimum 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.

● 310T Truck & Coach Technician license.

● Experience using diagnostic software is considered an asset.

● Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn new programs and systems.

● Must meet all company standards for safety-sensitive positions.

Key Responsibilities:

● Diagnose and repair operational issues on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.

● Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel, CNG, gasoline, and electric-powered

equipment and vehicles.

● Complete work orders, repair reports, and parts requests; perform required

administrative tasks daily.

● Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner and procure required parts to execute

the plan.

● Review mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedules with operations.

● Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner and in compliance with company and

regulatory safety requirements.

● Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

● Maintain and provide the necessary tools to perform all required maintenance and repair

tasks.

● Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

● Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable federal/provincial regulations.

● Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
