Engineering Services Apprentice Mechanic - Bldg Ops & Maint

 

 

 

Assists in carpentry, painting, and general trades related work. Makes progress towards and completes the apprenticeship within an appropriate timeframe, and upon satisfactory completion, would be eligible for advancement if an open position is available.

 

 

Essential Functions:

• Assists in the maintenance, painting, and repair of equipment under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Conducts routine inspections and tests on equipment or tools to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Reads and interprets materials to understand the operation of equipment, systems, or standards of application.
• Collaborates with other team members to identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and tasks completed.
• Participates in training programs and courses to develop technical skills and knowledge.
